This presentation will give an overview of the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) suite of surveys, how the data is used by government and how it can be used by institutions to support strategies to improve the student experience and understand and improve graduate outcomes and employability. It will also cover some examples of the sorts of analysis an institution could undertake using the QILT Tableau Reports and also how QILT can be used to measure other things that are important.
- Understanding of QILT
- Understanding of how QILT is used by government departments including TEQSA
- An understanding of each QILT survey and what it covers, and what it doesn’t cover
- A broad understanding of how independent non-government providers are performing and how this might be improved
- How to use a Tableau institution dashboard to analyse your own data and compare to national benchmarks
