The webinar looks at a wide range of activities to teach numeracy in the EAL and ELICOS classrooms.
Numeracy is an essential part of everyday life and, for English language students to integrate effectively into Australian society, students need to know how to express themselves in a broad range of situations requiring the use numbers.
The webinar focuses on teaching the language of numeracy in a way that is fun, challenging and genuinely relevant to individual student’s daily needs. The webinar is suitable for both teachers and managers.

Svtilana Harasymiv has worked in English language education for over 25 years. She has established and managed numerous EAL and ELICOS Departments and has written a range of successfully-accredited ELICOS courses. Additionally, she has worked as a Director of Compliance and Director of Studies managing not only English programs but also a wide range of VET courses. She holds two Graduate Diplomas and a Masters in TESOL Education, as well as a Degree in Applied Science (Geography). Her webinars focus on making English instruction enjoyable for both students and teachers.
