National - Essential Series
Mon 10 Nov 2014, 2:00pm to 4:00pm AEDT
Are you feeling daunted about using the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) to help you address your students’ LLN skills requirements?
With some expert guidance, you can gain a clear understanding the ACSF and confidence to use it effectively to implement LLN support in your delivery and assessment activities.
This will help you fulfil your RTO’s legislated obligation to address your students’ LLN skills requirements. It will also positively impact your RTO, your learners and your industry partners.
In this vigorous and highly practical session, LLN expert Irena Morgan will help you, to unpack the ACSF so you have the confidence to use it effectively to integrate LLN support in your delivery and assessment activities.
Irena will share practical and theoretical strategies for providing LLN support in your training and assessment activities, taking you through a range of preparatory activities that will support you to manage your incorporation of LLN in your VET delivery and apply this across qualifications and industries.
By the end of this webinar, participants will have the knowledge and skills to:
- determine the ACSF levels in a unit of competency
- create LLN learning activities within that unit of competency
- create LLN assessment activities within that unit of competency
- provide a LLN report against that unit of competency
