NT Skilled Occupation Priority List
Monday, December 21 2015
The Draft 2016 Northern Territory Skilled Occupation Priority List (NTSOPL) has been released. Your input is appreciated.
The NTSOPL is an evidence-based list of skilled occupations in high demand or considered critical by business and industry in the Northern Territory. The NTSOPL is a forward-looking list produced annually and is intended to provide guidance in priority areas such as:
• informing business and industry workforce planning and development
• allocation of training funding
• informing skilled migration activities (e.g. Designated Area Migration Agreement).
Information on the development of the NTSOPL can be found at: http://www.dob.nt.gov.au/employment/workforce-development/Pages/occupation-list.aspx
To add or remove an occupation please fill in the questionnaire available on the web site with as much detail as possible to support the request. A set of instructions and frequently asked questions have been provided to help you complete the questionnaire.
All responses should be directed to either Rob Floreani or Kieran Brockman via email (firstname.lastname@example.org / email@example.com ) by close of business 4 February 2016. If you would like to discuss the list or any related matter please contact Rob on (08) 8999 7758
It is anticipated the 2016 NTSOPL will be released in March 2016.
Thank you for your ongoing support and interest in this matter. Should you at any time require further information on occupations or training, please contact your relevant Industry Training Advisory Council, found at: http://www.dob.nt.gov.au/training/vet/Pages/advisory-councils.aspx
