Not too late to nominate for Indonesia delegation

Monday, November 23 2015

The details of the itinerary for ACPET’s delegation to Indonesia from 17 to 23 January 2016 are now being drafted. But it’s not too late to nominate to join the group.

Starting in Yogyakarta on 17 January for meetings with APTISI members, a networking event and visits to colleges, it’s expected that the group will then move to Jakarta. Taking advantage of being in Indonesia’s capital, the focus will switch to government and industry relationships on 20 January. It will then be on to Medan to be ready on 22 January to participate in Indonesia’s major private provider forum of the year, the APTISI conference.

APTISI is the Indonesian Association of Private Higher Education Institutions, representing over 3,000 private universities, academies and polytechnics. As a peak body similar to ACPET, it has strong links to government and industry stakeholders.

The minimum cost to participate will be $3 000 per college (GST included) for a maximum of two people per college. This price excludes accommodation, air fares and some meals.

Members working in the key areas of significant demand, including tourism and hospitality, nursing, aviation, child and aged care, and English language, are particularity encouraged to attend.

Further details will be released when participant numbers are finalised. So please be sure to indicate your interest by cob Monday 30 November 2015, so that all arrangements can then be confirmed. Contact Matthew Traynor (07) 3210 1628 or 0426 269 234.
