Monday, November 24 2014

Government announcement

Prime Minister Abbott and President Xi announced the conclusion of negotiations for the China-Australia Free Trade Agreement (ChAFTA) on 17 November. The agreement lays an historic foundation for the next phase of Australia’s economic relationship with China, and includes key outcomes for the international education sector. Chinese students make up 29 per cent of our international student market, injecting $4 billion to the Australian economy.
