What is sampling? How do I get ready for audit sampling?

Monday, October 20 2014

It’s impractical and cost prohibitive for an auditor to examine 100% of qualifications, units of competency, student files or procedures, whether they’re conducting internal monitoring reviews or preparing for external audit events. Instead, auditors will carry out ‘sampling’: a process by which inference is made about the whole by examining a part.

With a basic, broad understanding of sampling methods, you can potentially enhance the effectiveness of your audit preparation for your RTO and can increase your and your RTO’s organisational confidence in internal monitoring activities.

This webinar will not baffle you with mathematical sampling equations. Instead, it will practically assist you to applying sampling techniques in your internal monitoring planning and audit preparation for your RTO.
