ITENZ Annual Conference

Monday, September 22 2014

The Independent Tertiary Education New Zealand (ITENZ) held their annual Conference on 11 and 12 September 2014 at the Rydges Lakeland Resort in Queenstown. ACPET Chair, Martin Cass attended after receiving an invitation to attend as guests of the Board of ITENZ.

ITENZ is ACPET’s sister peak body in New Zealand. The ITENZ Conference is an event where members and others in the sector can come together to discuss, debate and learn about the many issues that impact on the sector.

This year’s ITENZ annual conference was themed “stronger through diversity”.  The day prior to Conference ITENZ held a series of Workshops followed by a Networking and Nibbles Function, with the following days consisting of keynote presentations, workshops and the ITENZ annual conference dinner.

Martin Cass provided an impromptu speech at the dinner where he spoke about the similarities between ACPET and ITENZ and the extraordinary work that both organisations do, touching also on similarities with regard to the issues that both organisations face.
