Launch of Collaborative Development

Monday, February 10 2014

ACPET is offering members a way to reduce the cost of developing a high-quality assessment tool for the new unit of competency TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.

We are offering members this opportunity through a crowd-funding project (using the Pozible platform) where funds will be raised collaboratively for the development of the resource. Launched last week, ACPET’s pilot initiative asks 10 members to contribute $250 each, with your reward being a high-quality assessment tool for the TAELLN411 unit of competency.

If you already have the TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment on scope, or have been thinking about adding this unit to your RTO’s scope of registration and want to share the costs of resource development, here’s your chance to collaborate with other RTOs to fund an assessment tool.

Why spend thousands of dollars on development when you could share the cost?

For a pledge of $250 (debited when the project reaches its target) you will receive an assessment tool that is fully mapped to the unit of competency, validated and provided as a pdf as well as word format for easy customisation.

Project pledges will be open during February, with resource development (and delivery) being managed by ACPET once the project reaches its target. You can read more about the project and pledge your support (and funds) via the Pozible website.

If you have any questions about the project please contact Catherine Kearney, ACPET’s Manager VET Quality.
