New webinar: Unpacking a training package and units of competency
Monday, November 25 2013
- Do you know how to read Training Packages to ensure compliant delivery?
- Do you understand streamlined training packaging?
- What are the trigger words within units I need to look out for?
- How can I maximise flexibility in delivery of a qualification or skills set?
This engaging webinar will focus on learning about unpacking a new streamlined Training Package, a qualification and focus on the units of competency within them. The vast amount of information within a Training Package and its Companion Volumes is daunting: we will focus on how to unpack and get familiar with the contents, gain skills to unpack units of competence and understand how to translate these into compliant training or assessment strategies. Several example units of competence will be referred to across different industry sectors to ensure this learning may be more relevant to participants.
We will also discuss how to identify LLN needs, core skills and other trigger words that are embedded in the units of competence. This workshop will build confidence in using units of competence and provide practical solutions to tackle any new ones that come your way!
