EYEQ2012 - Registrations open!

EYEQ2012: VET ideas worth sharing focuses on innovative approaches to e-learning and capability building for quality teaching, learning and assessment practices in the vocational education and training (VET) sector.

EYEQ2012 has an emphasis on using technology to enhance and assist teaching practice. This interactive event will appeal to experienced and new VET educators, educational managers, trainers, those delivering or managing VET in Schools programs, training consultants, and support staff.

Being held on 19 October at the Southbank Institute of TAFE in Brisbane, highlights will include:

  • A keynote by Ross Dawson - a globally recognised leading business futurist and strategy advisor.
  • An introduction to and discussion around the impact of technology trends in the Queensland VET sector.
  • An opportunity to participate in a session with a leading expert on Knowledge Transfer to understand its value to sustainable organisations and learn about strategies for implementation.
  • Practical sessions that will build workforce capability for use in the real world.
  • Insights into the importance of Foundation Skills and the potential impact for the VET sector.
  • Launch of the Queensland VET Continuous Professional Learning Strategy 2012-2015.
