Indigenous Economic Development Forum Darwin Convention Centre 23 – 24 October 2017

Monday, October 9 2017

One of the largest Indigenous economic development events in Australia will be held in the Territory later this month with the Territory government hosting the 8th Indigenous Economic Development Forum

The forum will attract a diverse range of delegates that will discuss key strategies, policies and initiatives to support Indigenous economic development and a platform to progress discussions held between Indigenous businesses and other stakeholders engaged with the recent Economic Summit series.

Building on previous forums, there will be an emphasis on providing an opportunity to encourage partnerships between Indigenous entrepreneurs, private sector, government and non-government organisations.

The forum will also focus on providing practical opportunities for Indigenous businesses to establish connections with other businesses that can lead to strategic partnerships and commercial joint ventures.

It will include an Indigenous Business Trade Fair, giving Indigenous businesses owners the opportunity to showcase their products and capabilities.
