Trainers and Assessors required to up-skill

Monday, July 17 2017

Following a recommendation from the Australian Industry and Skills Committee, trainers and assessors will be required to update their qualification. These changes are in line with other changes to the TAE qualifications that are currently being implemented.

Existing holders of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and the Assessor Skill Set qualification will now be required to complete new core units of competency by April 2019.

The introduced core units will primarily focus on skills in language, literacy and numeracy and the development of assessment tools.
