National release of a Peer Review Portal

The revised Higher Education Standards Framework (2015) from January 1st 2017 asks all higher education institutions to undertake peer review of assessment of inputs/outputs to assure course quality, which is aligned to accreditation and curriculum review. Dr Sara Booth presented a session at Universities Australia Satellite Event, Operationalising Quality, on Friday 3rd March, on the national release of the Peer Review Portal. The Peer Review Portal has been developed by CyberDesign Works:

So far, 50 higher education institutions are already preconfigured in the Portal. Please see below for instructions on how to register for the Peer Review Portal.  

Institution Registration for the Peer Review Portal- 3 Step Process
For Project Owners and Reviewers to commence using the Peer Review Portal their Institutions and Faculties/Departments must first be configured by our team.

Why is this necessary?
The Peer Review Portal is Institution & Faculty/Department centric. It provides a very granular approach to reporting metrics across the Faculties & Institution as a whole.

Step 1: If you would like to register your institution, please visit: and complete the simple Registration form.
Step 2: Once you are registered with the Portal and have selected your Institution, please contact our Support team via email requesting your account permissions increased to Institution and/or Faculty Manager status, please visit:
Step 3: Now you can set up peer review projects!

Peer Review of Assessment Workshops
Higher Ed Services (HES) and the University of Tasmania are collaborating to support the sector in providing workshops in peer review of assessment.  A key session of the workshops will feature the release of a national Peer Review Portal to support peer review of assessment, curriculum review, course and professional accreditation.  Program cost is $200 per person.
