Politicians to provide policy insights

Monday, August 15 2016

Given the number of relevant education and training policy areas in flux the addresses of key Federal politicians at the ACPET National Conference are much anticipated.

The re-appointed Minister for Education and Training, Senator the Hon Simon Birmingham will open ACPET’s National Conference on 25 August. His attendance provides an early, post-election opportunity to hear his views on the redesign of the VET FEE HELP student loan scheme, higher education reform and the future structure of the industry.

Shadow Minister for TAFE and Early Education, Kate Ellis, has also been invited to attend her first ACPET National Conference.

As Minister, Simon Birmingham will provide important context for the range of discussions about the future architecture of our industry, contestability and the future of education and training in the face of rapidly evolving technology and workforce needs.

Don’t miss your opportunity to contribute to the future of our industry. Register now for the ACPET Conference & Asia Pacific International Education Forum (APIEF) in Hobart 24 – 26 August.
