Don’t miss ‘The Big Debate’ on the future architecture of tertiary education in Australia, facilitated by well-known journalist Quentin Dempster, featuring panellists such as:

  • Professor Ian Harper, Chair of the Competition Policy Review
  • Dr Subho Banerjee, Deputy Secretary, Skills and Training, Department of Employment and Training
  • Andrew Norton, from the Grattan Institute.

Come and hear industry leaders discuss Australia’s innovative workforce of the future and the implications of digital disruption for education and training.

ACPET will present its new approach to membership as part of its quality membership framework. Professor Peter Noonan from the LH Martin Institute and Jonathan Chew of Nous Group will debate the future of contestability in tertiary education and much more.

Finally, Todd Russell, survivor of the Beaconsfield mine disaster, will inspire you with his story - ‘Drawing Strength from Adversity’
After the July federal election we will announce Government and Opposition speakers who will address the conference on key issues.
