Take part in national survey of teachers/trainers and their qualifications
Monday, May 9 2016
ACPET is an industry partner organisation in an Australian Research Council funded research project on VET teachers/trainers and their qualifications. The project is being led by Professor Erica Smith from Federation University, and five industry partners.
The research project is conducted via an on-line survey for VET teachers and trainers.
We invite interested RTOs to participate to allow us to gain as much insight across the private and public VET Sector.
If you participate you would be sent a link to the survey, in the next two weeks, to forward to your teaching/training staff. A draft email to adapt for your staff will be provided, and you’ll be asked how many people you have sent it to, to establish overall response rates.
What’s in it for you and your staff?
RTO: Participating RTOs will be sent a summary of the private RTO data, when data analysis is completed, which might be of interest and provide benchmarking data. Neither your RTO nor your staff can be identified in any way.
STAFF: The survey is quite detailed, and hence there is a draw for a number of $200 gift vouchers. Teachers and trainers who have completed trial versions of the survey have commented that they found it really interesting to reflect on their teaching.
How do you get involved?
Just email Erica Smith on email@example.com
It is hoped to have teachers complete the survey during May.
