Register for the 2016 International Student Barometer

Monday, February 29 2016

The International Student Barometer (ISB) enables you to track and compare satisfaction levels of your international students and identify areas of importance to them.

Be part of the 2016 Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training (HEVET) ISB to understand students’ perceptions of their experience at your institution.

The ISB tracks and compares the decision-making, expectations, perceptions and intentions of international students from application to graduation. It enables education providers to make informed decisions to enhance the international student experience and drive successful recruitment and marketing strategies.

In Australia, the ISB is used by public and private sector providers to survey students enrolled in certificate through to post graduate qualifications. National VET data is combined with university and English language sector data to provide an International Student Survey report for public release.

Being part of the ISB encourages institutions to think outside of their current environment, benchmarking themselves against others in the sector and across sectors, providing a channel for the sharing of best practice on common issues.

The process is simple, requires minimal administration for the institution and includes:

  • a dedicated i-graduate Account Manager
  • an online survey, personalised to reflect the terminology used in your institution
  • good practice guidelines to achieve the best response rates
  • targeted reminders to non-respondents (optional extra)
  • reporting online and in person
