Global Welfare Summit Gold Coast 21 – 22 April 2016
Registrations are now open for this summit that will feature discussions and presentations under the theme of Striking the Balance – Responsibility and Innovation in Care for the Ageing. This summit will appeal to anyone with an interest in health services and will culminate in a Master Trainer Class to be held in Brisbane on 23 April.
One of the many international keynote presenters is Dr Takuichi Mishimira of the Artificial Intelligence Research Centre in Japan. His presentation will be on humane Artificial Intelligence for elderly care . Innovations in this space will explain how the growing capacity of computer to link with widely spread sensors and actuators providing , artificial intelligence (AI) . AI has the potential to enhance human ability and revolutionise aged care. In this talk several outstanding practices and research works will be briefly introduced including a project that develops care robots. The team has also developed a mobile device application for sharing action, emotion and tacit knowledge to assist care givers.
