It is important for creditors, students and other people affected by the closure of this college to note that:
ACPET manages the TAS of which this college was a member.

Academic Records
Under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) 2010, RTOs are required to have a student management data base that has the capacity to provide the regulatory body with AVETMISS compliant data. About the ACPET Tuition Assurance Scheme (TAS)
Overseas Student TAS (OSTAS)
In 1994, the ACPET Board established an Overseas Student Tuition Assurance Scheme (OSTAS). The scheme is in compliance with the requirements of the Commonwealth's Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000. The purpose of the ESOS Act is to protect the interests of international students studying in Australia on student visas, by providing students whose college has closed a suitable alternative course.
The Scheme ensures that international students displaced from any course conducted by an ACPET member participating in OSTAS, due to the member's inability to continue the course, will be efficiently relocated with minimal disruption to studies in a comparable course with another ACPET member participating in OSTAS or other approved provider.
Australian Student TAS (ASTAS)
The ACPET ASTAS is designed to satisfy the requirements of:
The Scheme ensures that domestic students displaced from any course conducted by an ACPET member participating in ASTAS, due to the member's inability to continue the course, will be efficiently relocated with minimal disruption to studies in a comparable course with another ACPET member participating in ASTAS or other approved provider.
The Scheme covers a student if s/he is a citizen or permanent resident of Australia and enrolled as a full or part-time student in approved programs leading to an accredited award and has paid tuition fees in advance for a period of ten weeks or more and is not a student as defined in the ESOS Act 2000
