Peer+ points
The Professional Development Framework includes the Peer+ points system, which allows businesses to track their professional development activity. A reward system, it recognises continual professional development by allocating points according to the level and duration of completed activities.
Individual points
Peer+ points are allocated for each completed activity, and vary depending on the type and duration of the professional development undertaken. Points are also allocated for attendance at the ACPET national conference.
An individual who accumulates 80 Peer+ points or more in one calendar year will become an ACPET Peer. 60 points or more per subsequent year maintains ACPET Peer status. ACPET Peers are recognised in National Monday Updates and receive a 5% discount on professional development activities.
College points
Organisations will also accumulate points – one point each time a staff member attends a professional development activity. Rewards include a range of free-of-charge half-day workshops in the following calendar year.
As with individuals, ACPET Peers are recognised in National Monday Updates and receive a 5% discount on professional development activities.
