Meeting with SPRING Singapore
Mr Zhihong Ko of SPRING Singapore, a Government agency which takes care of Small and Medium-sized enterprises in Singapore, visited Australia recently and included the ACPET national office in its itinerary.
SPRING Singapore as part of its responsibilities, works closely with local industry associations and business chambers. Zhihong is part of the LEAD Programme Office, a Divsion within SPRING which supports associations to implement capability improvement and internationalisation activities for the benefit of their members.
During the meeting with ACPET, Zhihong was keen to explore general industry and association information, industry trends, developments and issues and member services. Also high on the Agenda was strategic planning and leadership and overseas linkages and collaborations with Singapore partners. As a result of these discussions, two delegates from SPRING Singapore will be attending the ACPET Asia Pacific Forum and ACPET Conference later in August.
