Additional User Choice Funding for Existing Workers

DFEEST have advised that from 1 September 2011, all existing worker trainees undertaing Certificate III qualifications will attract a User Choice subsidy, enabling this group of trainees to access more than 400 funded and nationally recognised qualifications.

The initative will contribute to the State Government's committment of an extra $194 million over the next six years to support an additional 100,000 training places.
