acpet queensland members to donate over $15 000 to variety, the children’s charity

National Monday Update Issue:

Funds are still being tallied from this year’s Variety Bash run that saw ACPET’s entry Daisy “Licensed to Skill” successfully complete the event from Southport to Port Douglas.

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who gave either money or support for the car. Daisy has just returned from the ACPET National Conference in Melbourne and is already primed to compete in future events.

Major sponsors will be invited to a celebratory Variety Awards dinner to be held at Dreamworld next month.

Planning is underway for next year’s run which will coincide with the ACPET National Conference in Brisbane. It is proposed to have the occasional live stream from the car to delegates as the car heads for the Gympie Muster that weekend.

If you want to be involved in next year’s event or if you have any concept/design ideas for the car, please contact Michael [dot] hall [at] acpet [dot] edu [dot] au (Michael Hall).
