The VET Outbound Mobility Program and Toolkit are projects funded by the Australian Government with the aim of increasing the number of VET students involved in international study, increase ties between education and training providers, their industry and their international counterparts, and increase the employability and training outcomes of VET students.
The VET Outbound Mobility Program allows interested providers the opportunity to access funding for outbound mobility projects that give domestic students an opportunity to practice their newly acquired skills in an international setting.
Meanwhile a VET Outbound Mobility Toolkit is being developed to help providers set up such projects and strategies. At present there is an invitation for RTOs to share their case studies of approaching and implementing outbound mobility programs. Selected case studies will appear on in the toolkit and on related websites.
