National Monday Update Issue:
ACPET, in association with Transport SA, is encouraging students and staff of member colleges to go Green – one kilometre at a time!
The TravelGreen initiative has been designed to help promote the use of public and sustainable transport by private education and training providers around South Australia. TravelGreen is part of ACPET’s Carbon Challenge, supporting member organisations as they become sustainability champions!
Staff and students at member RTOs can participate by:
- Contacting sa [at] acpet [dot] edu [dot] au (ACPET SA) or call 8212 5190 to register
- Receiving free pedometers, bicycle odometers or Adelaide Metro tickets
- Recording the kilometres travelled by bike, walking or public transport
- Returning completed forms for a chance to win some great prizes
All staff and students who complete the TravelGreen program will be invited to the ACPET Carbon Challenge Awards in late 2010.
