National Monday Update Issue: 

An Educative day! The Forum was a great success; the highlights of the day included the collaboration of professional and specialist speakers and an enthusiastic participation from the delegates.

WA office would like to thank the speakers and the delegates for their contribution to our first Private Sector Forum in Perth.

AQFT New requirements for initial and continuing Registration effective on the 1 July 2010 regarding:

  • Audits


International Training Issues:

  • What are the greatest challenges facing your industry/college in international education?
  • How have you adapted and changed your strategy to minimize risk?
  • What are the top 5 actions areas you would like ACPET (and other peak bodies, including IEAA) to focus on?


How Specialist Aboriginal & Employment representatives from Rio Tinto work:

  • They seek to gain an understanding of the candidates community
  • They identify the opportunities
  • They support Aboriginal people to be work ready
  • They prepare our workplace


Our plan is to continue to build for the next 12 months a strong relationship with our members and to develop a solid basis in WA from which we can grow.
