productivity places program for existing workers – closes this friday 9 july!

National Monday Update Issue: 

Applications are now open for the Productivity Places Program for Existing Workers.

Funding is available for training in Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications as part of the Productivity Places Program.

The program is a joint South Australian Government and Australian Government initiative to increase the skills of existing workers in areas of industry skills demand by funding training that leads to nationally endorsed qualifications.

Proposals
Proposals are sought that:

  • will up-skill existing workers who are Australian citizens or permanent residents, 17 years of age or over and employed for 1 hour or more per week
  • provide complete nationally endorsed qualifications issued by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
  • identify and meet skills in demand and are supported by the employer and endorsed by industry.

Proposals should address the number of participants to be trained and at what level / type of qualification.

Who can apply
Employers, industry bodies and associations, enterprises, employee/employer groups, RTOs and other organisations with a role in workforce development.
