On June 25, 2010 AICL and AIH Higher Education had a dual celebration: AICL celebrated 10 years of success and quality education and AIH Higher Education celebrated the grand opening of its state-of-the-art campus on Pitt St in Sydney.
Over 150 guests joined the festivities including Mr Paul Fletcher, Member of Parliament for Bradfield, TAFE Executives, AIH Higher Education governance members and the CEO of the National Trust Australia (NSW).
AICL was founded in March 2000 as a Registered Training Organisation and has grown in numbers from 150 to currently over 2000 students. This substantial growth is a direct reflection of AICL's commitment to ensure quality teaching methods, provide high demand courses, continually improve resources and facilities and actively maintain and develop its international network of reputable education agents.
In 2004, AICL formed a partnership with TAFE NSW Sydney Institute to sequentially deliver a number of courses. The partnership has grown significantly and now includes TAFE NSW Western Sydney Institute and TAFE NSW South Western Sydney Institute. The years following the partnership, AICL has been able to receive five awards in four consecutive years:
With approximately 70 per cent of AICL's diploma students articulating into bachelor level studies, AICL will be a primary feeder for the new entity, the Australian Institute of Higher Education P/L. AIH Higher Education’s campus is centrally located, in a purpose built state-of-the-art facility.
AIH Higher Education students will have access to highest academic excellence, innovative programs and personalised education experience to develop into the next generation of leaders who will be highly sought after by employers from Australia and overseas. There strong collaboration with and partnership with professional associations and industry will ensure a unique educational experience and deliver highly employable graduates.
