update on tae 40110 certificate iv in training and assessment

Register now! NSW RTOs will be required to send at least on appropriate representative to a workshop

The NSW Vocational Education and Accreditation Board accredited the TAE10 Training and Education Training Package at its meeting of 7 June 2010. The TAE10 training package includes the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

VETAB is currently finalising the risk analysis of NSW RTOs approved to deliver the TAA40104 qualification based on the National Risk Management Guideline. They have also met with representatives of Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) to discuss the transition process to the TAE40110 in NSW.

IBSA has scheduled 21 one-day workshops for RTOs on the TAE40110 in NSW from July to September 2010. NSW Workshops are scheduled for Sydney CBD, Parramatta, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth and Port Macquarie.

Additional workshops will be held as required. The workshops will include an overview of the TAE40110 qualification and hands-on professional development sessions.

NSW RTOs will be required to send at least one appropriate representative to one of these workshops. Many RTOs have already submitted an expression of interest.
