trades recognition australia - request for proposals from rtos

National Monday Update Issue:

The Job Ready Program is an employment-based skills assessment approach for eligible applicants who are seeking skills assessments in occupations assessed by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA).

Information about TRA and the Job Ready Program can be found at http://www.deewr.gov.au/TRA.

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) wishes to establish a list of RTOs approved to provide professional development services to participants in the Job Ready Program.

Proposals are sought nationally from RTOs that can successfully demonstrate their capacity and capability to provide job seeking skills and development in the culture and language of Australian workplaces (mainly trade-related) to clients from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.

The Request for Proposals DEEWR RFT PRN25113 will be found on the AusTender website www.tenders.gov.au. This Request closes on 13 July 2010.
