A reminder for NSW members who may wish to send in a submission……
In last week’s NMU, Steve Quirk, ACPET’s Manager of International Engagement reported on the Migration Amendment Bill. In NSW we know that many of our members are concerned about the impact visa capping will have on their student numbers over the coming months.
Late last month, the Senate referred the Migration Amendment (Visa Capping) Bill 2010 to the Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee for inquiry and report. Within a few weeks the Committee has already received 175 submissions.
Please note that any new submissions from NSW members need to be received by the Committee before COB on this Friday 18 June.
