Over the last two weeks ACPET has been conducting a Private Education Industry Survey.
This is a major initiative that will seek to determine the size and contribution of private providers to the tertiary (VET and Higher Ed.) education industry.
Target Reached
We have successfully reached the target that was set at the commencement of this project. Accordingly, WHK Horwath are now able to undertake a statically valid analysis of the data, and develop a report that we can take Government to highlight the size and contribution of the private training and education effort.
I would like thank all Members who have participated in the survey.
Survey Extension
On Friday, I joined with ACPET’s CEO, Andrew Smith, to meet with representatives of WHK Horwath to receive a briefing on the progression of this project. Given the strong response that we have had from Members, WHK Horwath advised that we should consider leaving the survey open for a further week in order to continue to gather data. Andrew and I have decided to accept this advice and as such the survey will now be open for participation until 18 June.
I encourage all Members who have not participated in the survey to do so. The more Members that contribute the more convincing our advocacy efforts will be.
