acpet to sponsor the 12th international robot olympiad 2010
National Monday Update Issue:
ACPET is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring the 12th International Robot Olympiad 2010 (IRO) to be held on the Gold Coast from December 15 – 18 2010.
The IRO provides a platform for students at all levels to develop their skills and creativeness through research, development, and competition with other students from around the world.
This event normally attracts around 700 students, academics, researchers and developers in the area of robotics, IT and education. This event will be officially opened by Premier Anna Bligh.
During the event, a number of international activities will be running concurrently:
- The 12th Robot Olympiad Competition for students
- The 8th International Symposium on Robotics Education (ISRE2010) for academics and researchers
- A Research, Development and Investment Symposium for developers and investors
- An exhibition for world leading robot and IT companies and educational institutes to trade, promote and demonstrate their products
