wa employment trends paper released

The Western Australian Employment Trends and Prospects, May 2010 paper was released by DTWD last week outlining predictions on employment by industry, occupation and qualification level.

With employment predicted to grow by 239 000 in the next 7 years, industries expected to experience the largest number of new jobs are; retail trade (23 500), manufacturing (22 900), health care and social assistance (21 800), construction (21 600) and education and training (19,700).
