state budget increases funding for training, not for profits and wa tourism

National Monday Update Issue: 

The 2010/2011 State budget outlines an additional $19 million over two years to fund an additional 7,600 training places.

It also outlines bonus payments to employees who take on out-of-contract apprentices and trainees; $10 million to support not -for -profit organisations by making available low interest loans with an aim to assist in building their assist bases; and a focus on marketing WA as a tourism destination, on supporting event development and marketing, also on promoting investment and infrastructure projects across the State.
