Building the workforce to meet tomorrow's labour challenges
CEDA in partnership with DFEEST welcomes guests to the 2010 training, skills and jobs forum: building the workforce to meet tomorrow's labour challenges. The event will be held as a half day seminar from 9.30am to 2pm at the Intercontinental Adelaide.
This event will provide attendees with the opportunity to gain first hand understanding of the key workplace, organisational development and productivity issues and will focus on strategies and solutions for building resilient and skilled workforces.
Speakers include: Hon Jack Snelling MP (Minister for Employment, Training and Further Education), Professor Kostas Mavromaras (Director, National Institute of Labour Studies), Dr Lynn Arnold AO (CEO, Anglicare) and many more.

Hedley Reberger, International Student Adviser (The University of Adelaide) will share information on the University of Adelaide International Student Centre’s University-wide international student peer mentoring program, which provides leadership and training opportunities and encourages interaction between international and local students. The program of peer mentor volunteers has been running for more than eight years and student evaluation and feedback has indicated the high value that students place on such support programs.
