The Australian Flexible Learning Framework (Framework) invites you to hear from experts, ask questions and share your experiences and thoughts to promote better understanding around two hot e-learning topics: e-assessment and copyright.

Morning: E-assessment challenges and solutions

Did you know that 62% of teachers and 46% of registered training organisations (RTOs) are using online assessment activities due to the flexibility they provide? This will be an exciting session which will highlight key e-assessment issues for practitioners and auditors and provide recommendations around how to maintain quality standards and confidence in assessment, as well as how to respond to validity and authentication challenges.
Afternoon: Copyright for education (Can I put that photo into my PowerPoint?)
Speaker: Vanessa Tuckfield, Copyright Officer, Framework
No longer just the domain of librarians and resource developers, e-learning has pushed the issue of copyright onto the radar of teachers, trainers and managers of training organisations . This session will provide advice on how to use digital resources such as graphics, music and audiovisual material in teaching and training. Find out about copyright compliance and management issues, as well as free licences and how these apply to education.
Cost:
• $88.00 (inc GST) for a single session (morning OR afternoon)
