victorian student number vet sector information sessions
National Monday Update Issue:
The purpose of this notification is to invite your organisation to attend one of the information sessions regarding the Victorian Student Number (VSN), scheduled for late May and early June in various Victorian locations.
As indicated in our previous notification, Victoria has legislated the introduction of a unique student identifier known as the Victorian Student Number. The information sessions will outline
- the legislation and associated provider obligations,
- the potential impact on provider business operations (e.g. student enrolments), and
- the VSN implementation processes and timelines.

As part of your VSN Information Session booking, you will be requested to provide details about your organisations’ student management system.
The VSN Implementation team requires this information to enable us to engage with software vendors to get products ready for the VSN.
