Good news has come through from the World Skills Australia finals where 2 out of the 5 College representatives from Australian Trade College North Brisbane have gained medals!!!!

The 2011 round of the Endeavour Awards is now open and will close on 31 July 2010.

Last week VETAB held its second series of Flying Squad Audit (FSA) workshops for VET CRICOS RTO’s delivering to international students. With the first round of audits nearing completion, the second round is due to commence from the beginning of June.

The Strategy and Research Unit, Queensland VET Development Centre (formerly Product Services) in the Department of Education and Training will be hosting a discussion forum to inform the design and implementation of the Professional Development Strategy for the Queensland Vocational Educational and Training (VET) Sector 2011 – 2013.

At the end of this May, Interchange Consultancy Group, the organisers of some of Australia’s longest running and most respected tertiary studies, careers and employment events, will stage the inaugural Tertiary Studies & Careers Expo Adelaide (TSCEA).

The Australian Multicultural Foundation and Robert Bean Consulting have developed the Managing Cultural Diversity Training Program (MCD Training) to enable small and medium enterprises to better understand cultural diversity and how to manage it effectively to improve workplace relationships, teamwork, productivity, market knowledge, community relationships, customer service and competitiveness.

WorkSafe Victoria’s pioneering WorkHealth program has delivered more than 130,000 free WorkHealth checks to workers across Victoria since it was launched last year, and more than 9,000 organisations are now on board with the program.
