2. ACT Education Services Export Strategy

The Canberra Business Council formally submitted the ACT Education Services Export Strategy to the ACT Government in late March 2010.

In its letter to the Government, the Council recommended that the Steering Committee continue to reconvene on a regular basis to provide assistance with Strategy implementation.

A meeting of Steering Committee members has been convened for Friday 14 May 2010. Members will be asked in this meeting on how to best progress in implementing the strategy and establish a comprehensive website portal and accompanying collateral to promote an identity for Canberra as Australia’s education capital. The Steering Committee will need to make several decisions about how to progress this item with the funding and resources available. On this basis, ACT members are asked to contact ACPET representative on the Steering Committee, Frank Sette to have their input in the process.
