acpet representation at the community services training package advisory committee and the health training package advisory committee

ACPET VIC staff member, Laura [dot] Hanzak [at] acpet [dot] edu [dot] au (Laura Hanzak), has become a member of the 2010 Community Services Training Package Advisory Committee and the Health Training Package Advisory Committee and will be representing relevant ACPET Members.

The first Community Services TPAC Committee meeting, facilitated by the Community Services & Health Industry Skills Council (CSHISC), was held in Sydney on Friday 30 April 2010 with further teleconferences and face-to-face meetings to be held throughout the year.

Representatives included CSHISC staff, DEEWR, State Training Authorities, State/Territory Advisory Bodies, relevant Councils and Unions, public training organisations, Government bodies and relevant private employers.

Laura will keep ACPET Members informed with any news regarding the Community Services and Health Training Packages and will ask for Member advice and input periodically.
