E-assessment and the AQTF: Bridging the divide between practitioners and auditors
According to the 2009 national E-learning Benchmarking Survey, 62% of teachers and 46% of registered training organisations (RTOs) are now using online assessment activities. However some practitioners are still finding their feet with e-assessment, as they attempt to fit traditional assessment methods into a new training agenda which requires more on-the-job and flexible training.
This presentation will discuss the findings of the E-assessment and the AQTF report and how quality assessment is an important part of good teaching practice. It will highlight key e-assessment issues for practitioners and auditors and provide recommendations around how to maintain quality standards and confidence in assessment, and how to respond to validity and authentication challenges.
