The candidate must have been involved with Group Training for at least 10 years, have made a substantial contribution to improve the profile and performance of group training in Australia, and/or have provided sound leadership at a high level within group training in Australia.
This year GTA Ltd’s Chair Iain McDougall and the full Board had great pleasure in receiving and confirming Life Member recommendations from Victoria and Queensland. Iain made the formal announcement and presentations at the Adelaide national conference: John Winsor and David Windridge are the recipients of GTA Ltd Life Membership for 2010.
David Windridge, CEO and Director of MEGT (Australia), who is also an ACPET Victoria Executive Commitee member and John Winsor are said to be an inspiration to the group training national network. Both men’s contribution to the development of GTA Ltd as a national advocacy force has been equally significant and deserving of recognition.
