National Monday Update Issue: 

On behalf of ACPET members and Staff we would like to congratulate Ms Sheridan Van Asch who has been appointed to the role of Director, VEO effective Tuesday 4 May.

Sheridan has had over a decade of senior management positions in a variety of roles within the Queensland Government. Building on foundations as Senior Policy Advisor to the Director General of the Department of Employment, Training and Industrial Relations she has provided strategic, business and funding advice to both Ministers and Directors-General including the current Premier.
 
Sheridan has implemented a range of complex projects across Queensland developing strong working relationships with a variety of industries, education and training and community organisations.  She has also been responsible for delivering programs that have seen increased employment and social benefits in diverse communities throughout Queensland.  
 
Sheridan will bring to the position of Director VET Export her business capability, capacity to effectively create strategic alliances and develop networks both within and external to government to deliver outcomes for both government and the private sector.
 
Sheridan’s appointment will see Kath Marnane revert to her role as the Manager of the VEO. ACPET would also like to take this opportunity to thank Kath for the direction, friendship and support provided.
