1. $481,200 funding for SA e-learning innovation

$481,200 has been awarded to develop and manage 13 projects that will deliver innovative e-learning training solutions in South Australia in 2010.

The funding and support, provided by the Australian Flexible Learning Framework assists registered training organizations develop innovative e-learning solutions to better meet the training needs of businesses and individuals.

This year's E-learning Innovations projects will focus on either:

  • supporting business-training provider partnerships that can drive the integration of e-learning into business and training
  • empowering learners through projects which target the needs of individuals in the community or existing and future students of the RTO.

Projects were selected on their ability to address South Australian skills shortage areas, such as the health and community services, agriculture, engineering and mechanical industries; and emerging areas in mining and defence.

To view a summary of the selected South Australian projects, visit the SA E-learning Innovations project announcement page.
