ACPET WA met with the Department of Training and Workforce Development last week to give input about current purchasing arrangements and their effect on private training industry.
We are pleased to advise members of the subsequent positive direction of the DTWD in this area.
Under the new leadership of Dr Ruth Sheen, we have confidence that training purchasing arrangements are set to be made more transparent and efficient, endeavouring to eliminate the problems associated with a range of funding models and variety of purchasing functions.
The private training and education industry in WA look forward to purchasing processes being consistent with State policy and reducing the burdens an inefficient system has incurred to the business operations of many of our members
