nominations are now open for the 2010 sa training awards

National Monday Update Issue: 

The peak state awards for vocational education and training (VET), hosted by the Training and Skills Commission, recognise innovation and excellence in training.

Employers, final year students, training providers, schools and organisations who excel in training are invited to apply for one of the following award categories:

Student Awards (open to all final year VET students)

  • Apprentice of the Year
  • Trainee of the Year
  • Vocational Student of the Year
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year
  • School-based Apprentice of the Year


Organisation Awards (open to all employers, training providers and schools)

  • Training Initiative Award
  • VET in Schools Excellence Award
  • Small Training Provider of the Year
  • Large Training Provider of the Year
  • Small Business of the Year
  • Employer of the Year


A FREE Workshop will be held on Thursday 29 April 8:30 – 10:30 am at the Education Development Centre, Milner Street, Hindmarsh, to provide practical advice to potential student nominees on how to prepare an effective application.
