National Monday Update Issue: 

The ACT Department of Education and Training is hosting its annual Let’s Talk VET Professional Development Forum on 21 – 22 April 2010 with a welcome reception on the evening of 20 April.

The forum provides an opportunity for professional development and networking for industry and vocational education and training (VET) stakeholders in the ACT.

The theme for this year’s forum is ‘A National Perspective’, focusing on national issues that affect ACT industry and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). With this theme, the Department aims to encourage stakeholders to consider a national perspective when planning their future business and training needs.

Keynote speakers include Julie Sloan from Workforce Planning Australia, Philip Bullock from Skills Australia and Sally Sinclair from the National Employment Services Association (NESA).

As Let’s Talk VET is a free event, places are limited and registration is compulsory.
Where sessions have reached capacity, notification registration is no longer be available will be provided.
