Canberra Business Council and its Education Services Export Steering Committee submitted its ACT Education Services Export Strategy to the ACT Government on 25 March 2010.
The Strategy focuses on achieving sustainable export growth within the ACT education institutions, leveraging Canberra’s unique position as Australia’s capital and fostering positive engagement of the business and broader community with international students.
The Strategy is built around four strategic initiatives
1. Building Collaboration & Capacity
2. Develop Canberra’s ‘identity’ as Australia’s Education Capital
3. Enhancing the Student Experience
4. Strengthening Infrastructure & Support.
ACPET as a member of the ESESC is keen to work with the ACT Government and ACT Education providers to assist in strategy implementation in the broader context of positioning Canberra as Australia’s international knowledge capital.
